Getting Started

Hermes World lets you deploy AI agents to messaging platforms in minutes. No code required. You configure your agent, provide your platform API keys, pay in SOL, and your agent goes live.

How It Works

  1. Configure - Name your agent and write its system instructions (personality, rules, scope).
  2. Connect - Select platforms and provide your own API keys (BYOK model).
  3. Pay - Connect your Solana wallet and pay $15 in SOL (real-time pricing).
  4. Deploy - Your agent goes live on Hermes World infrastructure.

Platform Setup Guides

Discord

  1. Go to Discord Developer Portal
  2. Create a New Application, then go to Bot section
  3. Click "Reset Token" and copy the bot token
  4. Enable Message Content Intent under Privileged Gateway Intents
  5. Paste the token in the Discord key field during deployment

WhatsApp Business

  1. Set up a Meta Business account
  2. Create a WhatsApp Business App in Meta Developer Portal
  3. Get your permanent access token from the API setup page
  4. Paste the token in the WhatsApp key field during deployment

Slack

  1. Go to Slack API and create a new app
  2. Add Bot Token Scopes: chat:write, im:history, im:read
  3. Install to your workspace and copy the Bot User OAuth Token (xoxb-...)
  4. Paste it in the Slack key field during deployment

Instagram DM

  1. Connect your Instagram Business account to a Facebook Page
  2. Generate a token via Meta Graph API with instagram_manage_messages permission
  3. Paste it in the Instagram key field during deployment

Payment

Hermes World accepts SOL payments via Solana wallets (Phantom, Solflare). The deployment fee is $15 USD converted to SOL in real-time using DexScreener price feeds. Payment is one-time per deployment — no subscriptions or recurring charges.

BYOK Model

We use a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You create bot accounts on each platform and provide the API tokens. This means:

  • You own and control your bot accounts
  • No vendor lock-in — take your keys and leave anytime
  • Full control over bot permissions and settings
  • Your keys are stored securely and used only for your agent
